A center axle trailer is a form of trailer commonly found in international logistics. The towing device cannot move vertically relative to the trailer, and the axle is located close to the center of gravity of the trailer when uniformly loaded.

This type of vehicle features a small vertical static load acting on the towing vehicle, not exceeding 10% of the maximum mass of the trailer. It is highly versatile and used for vehicle transport, recreational purposes, flatbed trailers, box trailers, and specialized refrigerated transport.
